Police officers are currently on the scene of a robbery in Webster Estates, George Town.

About 7.27 pm (Tuesday 17 January 2012) police received a report that a woman had been robbed in Antoinette Ave, Webster Estates.

The woman had just arrived home when she was suddenly confronted by two men, one of whom was in possession of what appeared to be a firearm.

The men demanded cash before making off with a small quantity of the woman’s money and some jewellery.

No shots were fired and no-one was injured in the incident.

No descriptions of the suspects are currently available.
