UPDATE: COVID-19 Positive Traveler is Sentenced to Four Months Prison,

UPDATE:

On Monday 21 February, Stephany Clarke, a 29 year old woman from Jamaica, was sentenced to four months imprisonment for failing to comply with Cayman Islands Public Health Regulations, when she flew into Grand Cayman on 9 September with a positive PCR test.

Ms. Clarke was immediately transferred to HMP Fairbanks Women’s Prison, where she will carry out her sentence.

1 November:

Following a police investigation into the matter of a traveler who flew into Grand Cayman on the 9 September 2021 with a Positive PCR Test, the traveler, a 28 year-old-woman, has now been formally charged with Failure to comply with Regulation 3(1)(b)(i) of the Control of Covid-19 (No.2) Regulations, 2021 (SL 39 of 2021). 

She will appear in the summary court tomorrow 2 November at 10AM.
