Top prize in Chicago fashion show is a getaway to Grand Cayman

Presence Saint Joseph Hospital Auxiliary invites you to get carried away at Annual Fashion Show

Had enough polar vortex weather? Tired of the arctic cold? Take a chance to win a Grand Cayman getaway plus $500 and Get Carried Away at the PSJH Auxiliary Fashion Show 2014.

Hel on Saturday, Apr 5th, from 10am – 3pm at The Stonegate Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates, NBC Chicago Health and Nutrition contributor Dr. Sandy Goldberg, clinical nutritionist, will emcee this annual event. Proceeds from this fund raiser will benefit the Malcolm and Stella Ward education project to support community and staff education at the hospital.

Co-Chairs Kitty Smith and Patty Lamp and their committee have planned a fun day. Features of this popular fundraiser will include a delicious lunch, fashions by Fashion with Flair from summer sports outfits to elegant evening wear with professional models and hospital executives, physicians and staff walking the runway; a boutique and raffles.

Event tickets are $60/adults and $25/child-12 years and younger. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase for wonderful prizes! Dr. Sandy Goldberg, a cancer survivor and active participant in many health related causes, is a board member on the American Cancer Society’s Downtown Leadership Board, a member of two boards at the University of Illinois at Chicago, board member of The Washington Square Health Foundation and a member of the President’s Advisory Council at Governor’s State University/ She volunteers for the numerous organizations including The American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Illinois, March of Dimes, and the Respiratory Health Association.

As Founder and Chairman of A Silver Lining Foundation, her mission is to ensure socioeconomic status does not impact an individual’s ability to obtain cancer resource information, quality of life services and the ability to obtain timely cost free mammography.
