Midwest Communications Founder Duke Wright’s Funeral Planned For Thursday In Green Bay, WILegendary MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS founder DUKE WRIGHT, who passed away at the age of 83 on DECEMBER 21st (NET NEWS 12/23), will be honored at a funeral service at 3p (CT) on THURSDAY at CHRIST ALONE CHURCH, 505 E ALLOUEZ AVE., GREEN BAY, WI, with REV. JON CORY handling the proceedings.

The PHILADELPHIA-born rapper is helping nearly two dozen families with imprisoned relatives, paying bail for 20 women in the RIVERSIDE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY in his hometown so they can be home for CHRISTMAS and NEW YEARS.

Report: Tory Lanez Fans Launch Petition Against Guilty VerdictConvicted in the shooting of MEGAN THEE STALLION (NET NEWS 12/23), TORY LANEZ’s family and friends have launched an online petition to help him avoid prison time, by attacking the jury, the music industry, JAY-Z and an alleged favoritism towards AFRICAN-AMERICAN women, according to TMZ

The “Appeal TONY LANEZ Verdict” site has had 19,000 people sign on, claiming TORY’s trial was a “circus of speculation, insufficient evidence, inconsistencies, and drunken memories [that] left us without much moral certainty of any truth.”

Japanese Rock Star Yoshiki To Make Donation To Victims Of Ukraine WarLegendary Japanese composer YOSHIKI, leader of both X JAPAN, and the international rock band THE LAST ROCKSTARS, announced that he is making a donation of 10 million yen to the INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MIGRATION (IOM), bringing the total amount he donated to 20 million yen. This donation will enable IOM to further support all those affected by the war in UKRAINE and will directly support emergency relief operations in neighboring countries.

YOSHIKI said, “It’s hard to celebrate the holidays when I know there are people suffering. I hope this gift will support people in need and hope this charity movement will continue to spread and inspire others to help. I’m praying for all those people affected by the war and hoping this donation will help in any way possible.”
