Can’t make it? The Mangrove Art Show will still be up on display until July 31

The festivities kick off July 24 at 10 a.m. with the opening of two mangrove-themed art exhibitions created by students and invited artists. Invited artists will also have items up for auction.

Kids and teens will get the opportunity to visit stations set up for face painting, mangrove crafts, or take a picture at the mangrove photo booth.
Afternoon Activities
Eco-art workshops will be hosted by Marc and Pamela Laurenson of Stoakd at 1:30 and 3 pm. Due to limited spots, pre-registration via email to [email protected] is encouraged.

(***Please note:  These workshops are recommended for ages 8 and up with parent supervision, due to the use of gorilla glue. ***)

Miss Cayman Islands Universe Mariah Tibbetts will be joining the festival as judge of the Mangrove Fashion Show at 2:30 p.m. where participants can dress up as their favorite mangrove critter for the chance to win prices.
The evening will wrap up at 4-6 pm with happy hour and music from DJ Solstice in the Parcel 110 lounge.
All activities and workshops are free of charge, but donations are encouraged. All proceeds will support the Mangrove Rangers in their mission to protect Cayman’s mangroves.
Want to make your own piece of unique mangrove art? Join Art Nest and Chasing the Sun for charity fundraiser classes which will go towards the Rangers’ mission of education and conservation
