Suspected Cocaine washed up on North Side beach

A large bag, containing 25 (twenty-five) packages of what is suspected to be Cocaine, was found washed up on the beach in North Side yesterday.

About 1.45pm on Monday, 6 May, police received a report that the bag had been found on the beach off Old Robin Road in North Side.   The packages, all wrapped in plastic and measuring approximately 7”x 5”x 2”, have a combined weight of around 61lbs (sixty-one pounds).

The packages have been retained by the RCIPS and will undergo forensic testing.
