Just after 11:40AM yesterday, 23 March, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to Bright Road, where it was reported that a white Honda Civic with one occupant was involved in a single vehicle collision.  The driver of the vehicle was required by the attending officer to provide a roadside breath test at the scene,  which showed negative results.

 

Assistance was rendered by the Cayman Islands Fire Service and the Public Works Department at the scene of the collision and the driver of the vehicle was transported to the Faith Memorial Hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and later released.

 

No other persons were injured as a result of the collision and no other properties were damaged. The matter is being investigated by the Cayman Brac Police Officers.
