A woman is being treated in hospital following a single vehicle road crash in the vicinity of Moon Bay Condos early this morning, Thursday 31 May 2012.

About 3.50 am a Ford Explorer, which was being driven towards Bodden Town, crashed off the road into bushes close to Moon Bay Condos.

Emergency services attended the scene and both the male driver and female passenger were conveyed to the Cayman Islands Hospital, George Town, for treatment. The driver, who was arrested on suspicion of DUI,  was released from hospital following treatment to minor injuries. The passenger remains in hospital with a serious arm injury.

Enquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
