Today, Sunday 8 June, search efforts will continue, based out of a new location, Joanna Clarke Primary School (formally Savannah Primary School).  Persons who wish to assist with the search are asked to please attend briefing at the school at 8.30AM.

CICG will also resume ocean searches tomorrow.  Persons with a boat who are interested in volunteering to help with the search are asked to call the ORCC at 649-7877 or 649-6722 or on VHF channel 24.

Today’s search efforts resulted in the recovery of a number of items of possible interest.  Police have informed the family of Mr Harris, and detectives are continuing with their enquiries.

The RCIPS wishes to thank everyone who supported todays search efforts.  The unwavering dedication shown to the search from members of the public and partner agencies alike has been truly appreciated.
