Marine Unit, Bodden Town officers and Immigration officers are at Beach Bay where a Cuban vessel with 13 men and 2 women is anchored off the shore.
This appears to be a separate group from those that passed through Cayman Brac yesterday.

Further to our previous release 32 Cubans departed Cayman Brac this morning in good health to continue on their travel to Honduras.

A search was launched to find a vessel which has been at sea for several days.
About 3.40pm today, 911 received a call from a man who stated that he was on a vessel which had 32 people on board. He stated that some of the people required medical attention. The caller was unable to provide a location of the vessel. It was subsequently determined that the vessel was off Cayman Brac. Police, DOE, Immigration officers responded and the vessel was brought into the Scotts Dock. They were examined by a medical crew and determined to be suffering from motion sickness. They remain in safe harbour until a further assessment in the morning. Twenty nine men and three women were determined to be on the vessel.
Oh, they have my sympathy! I wonder how many of the 32 people aboard were actually sea-sick at the same time? I’d hate to be the one cleaning up that boat, assuming they couldn’t and didn’t all make it to port or starboard to “upchuck” in time….
