The day was a huge success with one of the Humane Society’s longer term cats, Star, finding a new home.

Pixie, the ginger tom sat on Santa’s lap, may also be finding a new home soon after he enjoyed a sleepover with a potential owner.

Organisers thanked everyone who helped make the occasion a day to remember – and added that anyone interested in adopting a cat, or one of the many dogs at the shelter, can call 949 1461.
