Ryan Calling the Shots, Harry’s Slinging Meatball Sliders at 2nd Annual Soul Fest at The Stage

The Genuine Hospitality Group Beverage Director Ryan Goodspeed, testing his Soul Shots behind the bar in Grand Cayman

Our good friends and neighbours at The Stage have invited us to participate in Soul Fest for the second consecutive summer, and this time Ryan’s got some shots lined up, which he previewed for me here in Grand Cayman this morning, and Harry’s is serving the menu!

Miami’s top live music venue is revisiting its homage to the era when soul music prevailed, transforming its indoor/outdoor venue into a celebration of soul music from Friday, July 20 through Saturday July 21, 2012. The second annual festival includes live musical performances by New Orleans favorites Glen David Andrews, The Iguanas, Miami’s own Ketchy Shuby, and LEBO Live!

Inspired by Soul Fest, Ryan’s Soul Shots are sure to make you feel the funk… I sure did this morning! His power trio (also available for purchase a la carte) includes:

Soul Shot 1: Sailor Jerry, Root, All Spice Tincture, Demerara, Lemon
Soul Shot 2: Jack Daniels, Homemade Cola Syrup, Lime
Soul Shot 3: Zignum Reposado, Espresso Bean Orange Blossom Honey, Lemon

Harry’s  will be serving a soulful menu in the The Stage’s courtyard during the festivities from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. on both nights as follows:

$4 Polenta Fries (4 per order) with Spicy Ketchup
$4 Harry’s Meatball Slider
$4 Orange & Radish Salad
$3 Hedy’s Choc Chunk Cookie

Soul Fest begins at 10 p.m. on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21 at The Stage, which has been Voted Miami Best Live Music Venue by Miami New Times 2011, located at 170 Northeast 38 Street (Design District) Miami, FL 33137
