The public section of Rum Point Beach has been cosmetically enhanced.

The stretch of beach adjacent to the private Rum Point Club has seen the shrubs removed to dramatically increase the beach area. The downed trees at the water’s edge have also been removed.

So for those who prefer to picnic and/or self-medicate with beverages of their choice, listen to outside music, maybe frolic in the surf with their dog, or just want to avoid a rumored tourist trap, but still enjoy the magic of Rum Point’s waters.
