Rocket debris found off Cayman Brac similar to debris found off Barkers Grand Cayman

Debris found Barkers 2018

The rocket debris found off the coast of Cayman Brac by two fishermen, Larry and Tyrone Scott, last week is very similar to the debris from a rocket found on Barkers Beach, Grand Cayman on November 10 2018.

We reported the finding in our story “Fuselage section of Ariane 5 launch vehicle found on Grand Cayman during beach clean-up” at https://www.ieyenews.com/fuselage-section-of-ariane-5-launch-vehicle-found-on-grand-cayman-during-beach-clean-up/

According to CNS The Department of Environment believes t the piece of metal that the Scott’s found is debris from a rocket launch in French Guyana at the end of last year, which delivered a number of European satellites into orbit. See https://caymannewsservice.com/2020/05/rocket-debris-found-floating-off-cayman-brac/

There was algae growing on the debris so it must have been in the water for a long time.

The debris found at Barkers was from the European Ariane 5 rocket launch vehicle that is part of the Ariane rocket family, The rockets are launched by Arianespace from the Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana.

We wonder if in fact the two stories are linked………. or is it a coincident?
