Further weekend road closures – Queen’s Jubilee rehearsal and parade

The following junctions will be closed Saturday 2 June at 6am until around 10am and then again on Monday 4 June from 8.30am until around 12pm this is to facilitate the Queen’s Jubilee rehearsal and parade.

 

• Hospital Road/Walkers Road
• Elgin Avenue/Thomas Russell Way roundabout
• Shedden Road/Mary Street
• South Church Street/Louise Llewellyn Way
• North Church Street/ Mary Street
• Harbour Drive/Fort Street
• Dr. Roys Drive/Mary Street
• Albert Panton Street vicinity of Bank of Butterfield

The following roads will be closed from 2.00pm until midnight on Saturday, 2 June 2012 to facilitate the Queen’s Jubilee Flotilla and Fireworks display.

• Junction of Boilers Road and South Church street.

• Junction of Shedden Road and Elgin Ave by Royal Bank of Canada

• Junction of Cardinal Ave and Harbour Drive

The following road closures will in place from 5am on Sunday 3 June until 6pm on Monday 4 June 2012 to facilitate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Parade / Ceremony and the International Day of Culture event in the George Town  Library car park.

Fort Street at the Clock Tower to the traffic lights

• Albert Panton Street at the junction with Cardinall Avenue
• Edward Street at the Post Office junction
