Today, 9th January 2014, a 45 year old male Police Officer was arrested on Suspicion of Blackmail and Breach of Trust in contravention of the Penal Code and Anti-Corruption Law respectively.

This was as a result of a joint investigation by the RCIPS Professional Standards Unit and the Anti – Corruption Unit.

The Officer has since been suspended from duty and remains in Police Custody.
