Police Investigate Attempted Robbery in Bodden Town

Shortly before 7:45PM on Sunday, 29 September, officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery outside an address off Hirst Road in Bodden Town. It was reported that a woman had arrived at the location and exited her vehicle when she was approached by a masked man who demanded money from her. She refused and an altercation ensued, until another person exited the house shortly afterwards, at which time the masked man fled on foot.
The woman received a minor injury during the altercation, however, nothing was taken.
The suspect is described as being of fair complexion and tall in height, and was dressed in all black with a black mask. He did not appear to be armed.
The matter is currently under investigation by Bodden Town CID, and anyone with any information is asked to contact 947-2220.
