This morning January 25th 2014 at approximately 12.01am officers of the Cayman Brac Police Station were on patrol when they attended a report of a fight at the Esparenza bar in Watering Place Cayman Brac.

Upon their arrival a large crowd was gathered with two males in heated argument. The officers intervened and whilst doing so two other males obstructed the officers. These two males were eventually tasered.

As a result three males between the ages of 25 – 39yrs were arrested for several criminal offences ranging from assault ABH [assault occasioning actual bodily harm], resisting arrest, and interfering with a police officer in the execution of his duties.

One male was taken to the Faith hospital for medical treatment for injuries he sustained, as a result of being assaulted by one of the males. Injuries are said not to be life threatening.

Cayman Brac Police is seeking the assistance of persons who may have information relative to this incident to come forward.
