A good movie will make you laugh and perhaps even reduce you to tears at the right moment. A great movie however, will inspire you. It will make you take a step back and look at life from a different perspective. Here are 7 most inspirational movies that you must watch!

7. A Beautiful Mind
Starring Russell Crowe in the lead as an aspiring young mathematician who gets into MIT after getting a revolutionary new idea in governing dynamics and is approached by the government to help them crack codes and find patterns. However, the dark side of genius settles in and madness seems to be the end of the great Professor Nash.

6. Fight Club
One of the most inspirational movies of all times, Fight Club tells the story of a young man who becomes addicted to attending support groups and pretending to be a victim after he’s diagnosed with insomnia. He finds a friend who sets up a fight club with him but when the situation gets out of hand, it turns out that the friend exists only inside his own head.

5. V For Vendetta
In this movie, a freedom fighter’s struggle to rid the world in 2020 of a fascist regime, with the help of a young man that he saves and later falls in love with. Definitely one of the most inspirational movies, it follows the classic battle between good and evil since time immemorial.

4. 12 Angry Men
The fate of a nineteen year old boy accused of stabbing his father to death lies in the hand of a jury who must decide whether there is reasonable doubt to not sentence the boy to death. In a dramatic turn of events, a nearly unanimous vote of guilty is turned around by the efforts of one juror to a unanimous vote of not guilty by a reluctant jury.

3. The Intouchables
A must watch most inspirational movie, The Intouchables follows the unusual friendship between a quadriplegic millionaire and his caregiver who brings new meaning to his life with his wit and antics, as well as helping him find love after he has lost all hope of ever finding it.

2. Inception
A dream within a dream, Inception follows the story of a young man who has set out to steal people’s secrets by infiltrating their subconscious and implanting ideas there without them suspecting anything out of the ordinary.

1. The Help
Set during the civil right era in the 1960’s, the film follows the cruel treatment of African Americans during that time. A young woman decides to put her journalistic skills to use and tells the story of the maids being subjected to racism and cruel treatment from the families they work for.

After watching any of these most inspirational movies, it’s difficult not to feel that sense of elation that comes with being inspired. These movies should get those creative wheels of yours going in no time at all!
