OFC President’s Cup broadcast and live stream details announced

OFC: November 10, 2014 – With just over a week to go until the OFC President’s Cup kicks off, fans across Oceania and the world can look forward to live streaming of all nine matches via www.oceaniafootball.com.

OFC TV will provide exclusive coverage from The Trusts Arena in Auckland where host club Auckland City FC are set to battle it out with Amicale FC, Bodden Town FC, Busaiteen FC, Fiji U-20 and Singapore U-23 from 17-23 November for top honours.

Television broadcasters have been offered the rights through OFC TV with many coming onboard including VBTC in Vanuatu, EMTV & Kundu 2 in Papua New Guinea, FBC TV & Fiji TV in Fiji, Solomon Telekom in Solomon Islands as well as MediaCorp in Singapore and Cayman (27) in the Cayman Islands.

Live radio broadcast of selected matches includes coverage provided by APNA 990, Radio Tarana, Ethnic Media 360, Humm FM, VBTC Vanuatu with Radio Live Sport covering preview and reviews of the event.

Live streaming coverage includes all six matches from the group stage plus the play-offs and final on 23 November.

The streaming will be available via www.oceaniafootball.com with low-resolution and high-resolution options to cater for different internet speeds.

OFC General Secretary Tai Nicholas says OFC TV is committed to delivering the OFC President’s Cup to an Oceania and global audience.

“We are confident the OFC President’s Cup will be a successful competition for Auckland City FC, Amicale FC and Fiji U-20 as they prepare for the FIFA Club World Cup, OFC Champions League and FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015.

“Fans across the region are keen to see their teams grow through this preparatory process therefore it is crucial to deliver the matches to audiences here and further afield,” says Nicholas.

“We’re delighted to confirm live web streaming for fans in countries where broadcasters have chosen not to air the matches.”
