I thought I would start this week’s newsletter with my quote of the week and I hope the message in the statement above lights something up inside of you. 

How many times have you entered a room and someone approached you because you came highly recommended? 

In an age where trust is so easily broken and skepticism is at an all time high, personal branding is not the promotional visibility project it once was heralded as but now a crucial part of your reputation and identity. 

If you don’t prioritize your personal brand you will not only lose limitless opportunities in your career, but sadly you will eventually lose other people’s attention, trust, and ultimately respect. 

We turn to people who provide value. So what value are you creating in this new digital first world? Is it your experience, your talents, your aura? Define what makes you unique and valuable. 

When I began my journey to relaunching my personal brand this year, I started by first defining 3 word themes that I want to be associated with when people hear my name. My 3 words were: 

Bold | Inspiring| Insightful

If you’ve met me in person, or joined a virtual training or even read my previous emails, I hope these 3 words align with the experiences you’ve had with me.
