New Workshop + Grants & Funding Resources for You

By Christine Ntim
It’s been a crazy start of the month with juggling the newsletter relaunch, the continuation of webinar Wednesdays and the exciting news around the live workshop I am hosting this month.
If you recall, I got really vulnerable with you last week, sharing that I am relaunching my personal brand in public to incorporate new changes in my life and new milestones that I have attained.
Over the past few years, many of you witnessed my success in the tech scene with high profile awards and high visibility stages. Yet behind the scenes I was also balancing my life as a wife, mother of 4 and traveling to multiple countries as a family.
During this evolution, I’ve hit some very hard lessons in my career such as laying off workers during the start of the economic downturn, resenting my business because it consumed too much of my identity, and prematurely taking career moves during maternity leave that left me depressed and overwhelmed.
It is hard navigating today’s climate. If you need to hear this, I promise you…you are not alone. Even the top leaders are getting whiplash with the state of affairs in the business world right now.
With that said, I made a conscious decision to make 2025 a year to start over again not from scratch but from experience. That means relaunching my personal brand (in public), reinventing my business so I can fall in love with my purpose again, and redefining what work/life balance looks like for me as I prioritize my family above all things.
The point is, I’m not chasing success anymore. I’m seeking alignment and clarity in my life so I can ultimately attain fulfillment.
I wish that for you too.
So if the year is moving fast and you already feel like it’s not going how you expected, take a beat and make a decision to reset, relaunch, and reintroduce yourself to the world. Don’t do it for the reactions of others and don’t do it for the approval of loved ones. Do it for you.
You deserve the opportunity to manifest your God given potential. And no one will hand it to you, only you can open doors for yourself. So go ahead, take life by the horns and get ready for a new ride of a lifetime.
“May this season be the plot twist you’ve been waiting for.”
Here’s What Else You Need to Know This Week
1.My favorite Conversations;
First, here is the replay from last week’s live Webinar Wednesday, How I Filled My Calendar W Speaking Gigs in One Year As A Busy Entrepreneur. Over 400+ people joined live via zoom, Linkedin and Facebook!
The next one takes place tomorrow May 14th at 11am EST, Speak to Scale: Use Public Speaking to Grow Your Business & Your Income. Public speaking is one of the most powerful tools for entrepreneurs and business owners looking to expand their reach, increase credibility, and boost income.
In this action-packed webinar, we’ll show you how to leverage public speaking to grow your brand, attract high-value clients, and elevate your business in ways you never thought possible. FYI I launched 3+ revenue generating companies with this strategy! Register for calendar invite access here.
2. My Favorite Finds to help you scale your startup and personal brand
- STARTUP FUNDING RESOURCE ALERT! Funding for startups has changed. 2 years ago Forbes did an article on the VC rest…Need funding? Let me connect you to Kirsten Barker – Program Director for the Bank of America Institute for Women’s Entrepreneurship at Cornell University who shares grant and funding opportunities listed globally and by state here: https://bofainstitute.cornell.edu/more/repost-spreadsheet-with-funding-and-resource-links-for-2024/ download the spreadsheet monthly!
- What I’m reading: This Linkedin article by Gary Vee gets straight to the point about personal branding and how to make it a priority in 2025.
- Tools I’m using. I used to use hubspot to manage my personal brand activities such as newsletters, social media posts and blogs. Then I moved to Kajabi which helped me monetize my personal brand to six figures. But if you are just starting out, I highly recommend you use Kiy (Formerly Convertkit) for free
3. Your Invitation: Initiatives to help you take action with my support
Last week I made the announcement that I’m bringing back one of my most in-demand trainings… but with a powerful upgrade. Formerly known as the Paid Speaker Via LinkedIn Workshop, this newly expanded, live experience is now called:
The LinkedIn Speaker Brand Launch Workshop:
Get Found, Get Booked, Get Paid
Virtual Live Training: May 28-29,2025 12-1:30pm EST
Join the step-by-step workshop course that teaches entrepreneurs how to position their LinkedIn presence for high-value paid speaking opportunities!
No more guessing how to land speaking gigs or chasing event organizers. This workshop shows you how to get found by the right people, get booked consistently, and get paid to speak—even if you’re just getting started.
By the end of this workshop, you will… Walk away with a fully optimized LinkedIn profile that positions you as a high-value speaker, a clear message that gets you noticed by event organizers, and a repeatable outreach system to land paid speaking gigs—without cold-pitching, guessing, or wasting time. You’ll know exactly how to get found, get booked, and get paid—so you can grow your visibility, credibility, and income as a speaker, starting now.
The investment for this live intimate workshop experience (why I am running live audits for each person live on the call) is only $97 for the first set of participants! The price will increase to $147 once the early bird seats fill up. Don’t wait!
