Cayman Islands Netball Association would like to congratulate the President of INFA (International Federation of Netball Association) of which CINA is a member.

Mrs. Molly Rhone has been awarded the fourth highest honour in Jamaica, “The Order of Jamaica” for her contributions to the Sport of Netball locally and internationally.

She has been with the netball fraternity for approximately 40 years.  She became the first and only Jamaican female to head an international sporting body.

Mrs. Rhone was an outstanding all round track and field athlete but excelled in Netball representing Jamaica at Under 21, Under 23 and Jamaica Vice Captain of the national team to the fourth World Netball Championships in 1975.

Cayman Islands Netball Association Upcoming Events:

  • Netball Mixed League  begins Saturday, 3rd September 2011

at Truman Bodden Sports Complex.

  • Closing of the netball season will be on the 16th September 2011
  • Umpire’s workshop, theory examinations and practical examinations

will be on Friday 23rd and 24th September 2011. Schools are invited to participate in umpire’s training sessions.

  • Registration for Adult Netball teams/clubs begins on the 1st September and ends on the 31st October2011.
  • Retreat and Strategic Planning will be on the 1st October 2011
  • Opening Ceremony and Uniform Parade will be on the 4th November 2011,
