Mr. Orrett Connor’s last Cabinet

Cab Sec's Last MeetingwebCabinet Secretary, Mr. Orrett Connor, MBE, JP attended his last Cabinet meeting today (Tuesday, 29 January) before he retires in early February, after nearly 30 years in the civil service.

Mr. Connor became the Cayman Islands’ first Cabinet Secretary in June 2003 and, in that role, successfully managed the Constitution and Freedom of Information initiatives.

He previously served as the country’s first Caymanian-born Chief Immigration Officer.

Incoming Cabinet Secretary Samuel Rose, JP, also attended the meeting.
