Event: Turkey Trot, 5K & 10K Fun Walk / Run

It is the perfect way to give back this time of year. Run now, gobble later this Thanksgiving season with the Meals on Wheels Turkey Trot. This event is for everyone, from the serious runner or a family looking to be more active while supporting our worthy cause.

Registration is now open for the 6th Annual Meals on Wheels Turkey Trot 5k FUNdraising Walk/Run which will take place on November 20th, 2021, and 6am. Start and Finish will be at Grand Old House, South Church Street. Register today for the Meals on Wheels Turkey Trot at www.mealsonwheels.ky. Packet pick-up will take place on November 17th (12 noon to 6 pm) or November 18th (10 am to 4 pm) at Westin Resort, Galleon Ballroom ~ Seven Mile Beach, West Bay Road.

Registration includes a T-Shirt, finishers’ medals, entry into the event raffle for a variety of spot prizes. Trophies and prizes will be awarded for each running category. Don’t forget to get fancy and creative, a special prize and trophy will be awarded for the best ‘Turkey Trot’ themed dresser.

Meals on Wheels serves the community by delivering hot lunchtime meals to over 300 seniors across Grand Cayman each weekday. Organizers hope to raise $31,500 with this year’s event, which is enough funds to feed their seniors for one month. This event would not be possible without the support of our sponsors, participants, and volunteers.
