Marlee has a big leaving party in the Cayman Islands, before she gets on a plane for Heathrow airport in London.”
The story in rhyme, starts as a sight seeing tour for Marlee, but soon turns into a crime solving adventure, involving the Queen and the new friends from London, Marlee encounters on her way. Squirrel Sam from Buckingham Palace jumps on Marlee’s back as they head off to the Tower of London where they meet a beefeater in his beautiful red uniform. The Beefeater suggests they visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, which is where they meet Pigeon Pete, who assists them on their secret mission!
With multiple choice comprehension questions at the end, you can see how much your children have learnt about the amazing city of London and Marlee’s adventure.
