CBAC Open Water Swim Series

Join the Camana Bay Aquatic Club (CBAC) for a three-part series of family-friendly open water events. Open to swimmers of all ages and abilities, it’s a great way to learn a vital life skill, get wet and have fun! Little ones will enjoy a 200m Lollipop Dash, designed  for swimmers 10 and under who are new to open water swimming, while more experienced  swimmers can take part in the Sea Swim. Not ready to swim but still want to join in the fun? Water Walk participants will walk the full race distance in waist-deep  water. Each event, the swim and walk will increase in distance by 200m, starting at a breezy 400m and building up to the final 800m challenge. There will be random prizes and post-race refreshments on Public Beach. Registration is CI$30 for a Series Package (all three races),  CI$90 for a Family Package (all three races  for two adults and two children) or CI$15 per race. All participants will receive a CBAC swim cap,  and those  who sign up for the Series or Family Package will each receive an Open Water Swim Series t-shirt. Heart Health Fair

The Cayman Heart Fund invites you to their 7th Annual Heart Health Fair with a focus on “Returning our Focus to Preventative Cardiovascular Medicine”.

National Trust Brunch Gala Fundraiser: Hat-i-tude

Show the National Trust your Hat-i-tude by donning your best derby hat or fascinator at the trust’s largest fundraising event of the year. The Festival Green will be transformed  into an enchanting atmosphere where the “Kentucky Derby meets  Cirque Du Soleil”. Guests are encouraged to where whimsical hats and elegant attire. The first of its kind in Cayman, guests  will be treated to show jumping and a dressage parade of horses adorned  in sponsor logos. In an effort to create a feeling of a “day of the races”, betting stations will be open as televised horse races are broadcasted on the big screen at 2PM. Winners will be rewarded  every hour with prizes  from our sponsors. Stations will include cigar rolling, wine tasting, hat making, orchids and much more.
