The Santa Clara County Sheriff is investigating a body found on Apple’s Cupertino headquarters Wednesday.

A male employee was found dead at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff.

No suspects are being sought, and no one is in danger, sheriff’s officials said, adding that the campus at 1 Infinite Loop is open.

The Santa Clara County Fire Department said crews were called to the scene at 1 Infinite Loop but were then waved off and never went on campus. The body was reportedly found in a conference room Wednesday morning.

Apple did not respond for comment sent via email.

Audio from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s dispatch indicates that a woman employee on the Apple campus was escorted out of a building by security Wednesday morning, and had sustained an injury to the head, possibly from a gun. Two minutes later the dispatch talks about a dead body found in one of the conference rooms, with a gun nearby.

NBC Bay Area chopper footage showed at least one sheriff’s car on campus before noon.

On Tuesday, Apple announced its first revenue drop since 2003, sending the company’s stock price down more than seven percent in extended trading.
