Las Vegas saddles up for National Finals Rodeo with top-tier entertainers

LAS VEGAS – Every December, the Entertainment Capital of the World invites cowboys and cowgirls to party ‘til the cows come home with a lineup of incredible events and entertainment during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), which kicks off on Thursday, Dec. 5. World-class entertainment taking over iconic Vegas venues include:

  • Country songstress Shania Twain will kick off her residency Shania Twain “Let’s Go!” inside Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Dec. 6-7, 11, 13-14 and 18.
  • King of Country George Strait returns to T-Mobile Arena to play songs from his more than 30 years of number one hits, Dec. 6 and 7.
  • Blue Collar Comedian Ron White will perform his raucous comedy routine inside the Terry Fator Theatre at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, Dec. 6-7 and 13-14.
  • For the fifth year, Academy of Country Music Award nominee Gary Allan will return to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, Dec. 6 and 7. 
  • For three nights only, Jason Aldean performs his hits inside Park Theater at Park MGM, Dec. 6-8.
  • The Tropicana Las Vegas is rustling up the ultimate rodeo celebration with a number of events, including the 65th Miss Rodeo America 2020 Pageant (Dec. 1-8), Tailgate Party (Dec. 5-14), Bullfighters Only 2019 Las Vegas Championship (Dec. 5-14),Hooey Jam (Dec. 5-14), WNFR Closed-Circuit Viewing Party (Dec. 5-14) and Gary Leffew’s Bucking Ball (Dec. 5-7 and 12-14).
  • Downtown Las Vegas celebrates NFR with the 33rd Annual Downtown Hoedown atFremont Street Experience with full length performances by chart-topping country music sensations, including Rodney Atkins, Dylan Scott, David Lee Murphy,Filmore, Gabby Barrett and Jackson Michelson on Dec. 4.
  • Country Music Award Vocal Group of the Year, Old Dominion, brings their “Make it Sweet” Tour to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, Dec. 4 and 5.
  • GRAMMY Award-winning entertainment icon Dwight Yoakam will make his Wynn Las Vegas debut with a six-night residency, An Evening with Dwight Yoakam & The Bakersfield Beat, at the Encore Theater, Dec. 4, 6-7, 10, 12 and 14.
  • The longest-running country residency, REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegaswill perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Dec. 4, 6-8, 10-11 and 13-14.
  • For one hilarious night only, actor and comedian Jim Gaffigan will perform at theEncore Theater inside Wynn Las Vegas, Dec. 5.
  • Comedian and actor Rodney Carrington will return with his belt buckle busting routine at the David Copperfield Theater at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, Dec. 5-14.
  • The Mirage Hotel & Casino will rope in NFR fans during “Rodeo Vegas” at the Race & Sports Book, with nightly live music from a star-studded line up, including: Mitchell Tenpenny (Dec. 5), Easton Corbin (Dec. 6), Casey Donahew Band (Dec. 7 and 9),Riley Green (Dec. 8), Chancey Williams Band (Dec. 10), Glen Templeton (Dec. 11),Marc Chesnutt (Dec. 12), LANCO (Dec. 13) and Chris Lane (Dec. 14). For more intimate performances, Parlor Lounge will host Britt Stokes Dec. 3, 5-7 and Glen Templeton Dec. 12-14.
  • The Showroom inside Golden Nugget Las Vegas will host a variety of country music legends, such as Terri Clark (Dec. 5), Clay Walker (Dec. 6), John MichaelMontgomery (Dec. 7), The Charlie Daniels Band (Dec. 8), Ronnie Milsap (Dec. 9), Tracy Lawrence (Dec. 10), Pam Tillis &  Lorrie Morgan (Dec. 11), Ray Wylie Hubbard (Dec. 12) and  Jamey  Johnson Colt Ford (Dec. 13).
  • Up and coming country artist Cody Johnson plays The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, Dec. 12.
  • Koe Wetzel brings their contemporary punk rock meets raw, hillbilly east Texas country music to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, Dec. 13.
  • Singer-songwriter Kip Moore and critically acclaimed country group Midland will take the stage at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Dec. 14.
