(Cayman Islands: October 9, 2014): On Sunday, September 28, 2014, the Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman held a brunch at Agua to install its new officers and board members for the 2014-2015 year. The event brought together Kiwanians, friends, family and representatives of other local service organizations.

New officers inducted at the ceremony were President Tonicia Williams, President Elect Daniella McGowan, Vice President Martina Jackson, Secretary Linda Chapman Key, Treasurer Ruud van der Pluijm and Directors Nicola Smith, Monique Bush, Roger Bodden, Judy Ebanks, Venesha McLean, and Sue Day.

Ruud van der Pluijm was installed for his 11th term as treasurer and was the recipient of the Kiwanian of the Year award for his ever present and charismatic service.

Ending her second term as president, Kadi Merren-Pentney retired and officially became Immediate Past President. She was presented with the Distinguished President award beautifully crafted in Caymanite by Horacio Esteban for her enthusiasm and success as President.

The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman is a diverse group of like-minded people with a focus on improving the lives of Cayman’s children.
