Kits for Cayman Islands Rugby Referees Society

SWP hosts presentation event for their sponsorship of Cayman Rugby Referee Society. Mick Kehoe, President of CRFC, shows off the newly designed referee jersey.

Cayman Islands, Tuesday January 11, 2022: Strategic Wealth Preservation (SWP) is bringing a smile to the faces of some of the least recognized and appreciated members of the Cayman Islands Rugby scene this season with sponsorship of a new kit for the Cayman Islands Rugby Referees Society. The kit is a brand-new design that incorporates blocks of gold bars and the SWP turtle that has become the symbol of this world-class precious metals storage facility that is headquartered in the Cayman Islands.

The new kit was presented at a recent appreciation event hosted by SWP, and attended by Cayman Rugby officials, referees, and SWP staff members. There are 11 certified referees for the upcoming season 2021-2022 with more to come.

Founded in 1971, the Cayman Rugby Union is the governing body of rugby union football in the Cayman Islands and is a full member of World Rugby and Rugby Americas North. The Union administers and delivers Rugby programmes throughout the Cayman Islands that include Men’s, Women’s and Youth rugby.

SWP spokesperson, Stuart Bostock said, “We chose to sponsor Cayman Rugby because after 50 years of excellence, it continues to find ways to reach more and more members of the community through the diversification of its programmes. Cayman can be proud of its thriving rugby scene that includes domestic rugby for Men, Women and Youth leagues and our National Teams that represent us all over the world. None of this would be possible without the certified men and women who volunteer their time to remain qualified and active as Referees.”

CRFU Spokesperson, Caroline Deegan said, “We are thrilled to have SWP on board as Title Sponsor of our Cayman Rugby Referees Society. We are really looking forward to working with such a progressive and exciting company and we thank them for their support. Often the referees are overlooked for their excellent contribution to the games, but thanks to SWP they will have the recognition they deserve for at least the next three seasons.”

SWP is proud to support the Cayman Rugby Referee Society.

  1. Thanks go also to Chris Johnson Associates Ltd who provided the shirts for the previous four years who were somewhat more modest in seeking their recognition of their sponsorship.

  2. Referees are often the forgotten stalwarts behind structured sports and discipline on the field. Protecting players and the rules of the game sits squarely with our mission of wealth protection and preservation. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to support the Referee Society and laws of rugby with these great looking new uniforms.
