IMG_1567Thousands attend Cayman Islands Batabano

It was a beautiful day last Saturday (7) and thousand s of people took to the streets to watch beauty.

And there was much beauty in the costumes and people walking the streets of Grand Cayman to take part in the annual carnival called Batabano.

Batabano was the brain child of ex Cayman resident Dave Martins who left these shores some years ago to return home to his native Barbados.

He left, many legacies behind and one of them is Batabano that seems to get bigger each year.

It was indeed this year.
