U.K. must stop penalizing victims for crimes they were forced to commit, says U.S. government TIP report

According to the new  U.S. government Trafficking in Persons report, the U.K. is failing to provide adequate support for trafficking victims. Trafficking victims in the U.K. continue to be detained for immigration offenses and punished for crimes they committed as a result of their exploitation. We are urgently calling for guaranteed statutory support for all trafficking victims and survivors in the U.K. Read more…
