Home Gas celebrate at Cayman Islands Business After Hours

Home Gas celebrated their 60th year of service in the Cayman Islands community on January 26, hosting a Chamber Business After Hours at George Town Yacht Club. 150 attendees were present for the momentous occasion, all praising and congratulating Home Gas and the Bodden family for their hard-work, dedication and successes over the years.
Chamber President, Paul Pearson, was on hand to provide some opening remarks, during which he praised Captain Theo Bodden. Captain Bodden had played an instrumental role in founding the Chamber of Commerce over 50 years ago, and President Pearson offered his whole-hearted thanks for his service and support of the Chamber, whilst congratulating him for Home Gas’ tremendous success.
Home Gas’ General Manager, Gregg Radley, then took to the stage to offer his own words. During this time he presented the Bodden family with a family portrait, before presenting an emotional video tribute from the family about Captain Bodden and the Home Gas business.
Towards the end of the evening, the raffle winners were announced, with the grand prize being a brand new propane fuelled BBQ. Two lucky winners walked away with exclusive goody bags (which included
Home Gas mugs, hoodies and chopping boards), but Doreen Trickett from the Cayman Reporter claimed the grand prize when her number was called.
The Business After Hours was a wonderful evening, and the Chamber would like to thank Home Gas
again for hosting such a brilliant event, and we wish them all the very best for 2017.
