A second Hard Rock-branded hotel will open in the Dominican Republic, following the successful resort in Punta Cana.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic—A new Hard Rock International hotel and casino will open in the Dominican Republic in late 2017. Developed in collaboration with All Inclusive Collection, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo will feature 400 hotel rooms and suites, as well as a state-of-the-art casino.

“The Dominican Republic is the region’s most visited country and continues to be the top performing destination in the Caribbean. In fact, the country received 19% of the record number of 26.3 million visitors to the Caribbean region in 2014,” said in prepared remarks Nelson Parker, vice president of casino development at Hard Rock International. “The decision to bring a full service hotel and the brand’s second Caribbean casino to the Dominican Republic is a testament to the country’s remarkable strength in tourism.”

Located in the heart of the Dominican Republic’s capital city, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo will offer 400 guestrooms, as well as a 23,000-square-foot casino, screening room and a nightclub opening up to the main pool. The property will also include 33,000 square feet of meeting space.

The full-service hotel will offer a range of amenities, such as Hard Rock’s legendary merchandise Rock Shop, Rock Spa & the Body Rock gym, a lobby bar, cigar lounge and a celebrity-chef specialty restaurant.
