“Happy” brought sweet melodies to the ear and made many “Smile”,  as the 2009 album was aptly named; then in 2012, along came “Break Every Chain” which has become a worldwide national anthem, sung from the powerful vocals of Tasha Cobbs.   She was born the only daughter to Bishop Fritz and Bertha Cobbs. She grew up surrounded by a God-fearing, musical family, so her love for God and music is no surprise; as matured, so did her gifts…

Tasha’s writing ability is exceptional… Her ability to capture Heaven’s melodies and release them in the earth is necessary… Her voice is indeed a powerful instrument… Without a doubt, her musical gifting has made room for her; however, Tasha Cobbs is more than just a song.

She is a Servant… Faithful and submitted, Tasha served her late father, Bishop Fritz Cobbs for years and now serves Bishop William H. Murphy, III (Praise Is What I Do)at the dReam Center Church of Atlanta where she is one of the Campus Pastors. She also serves as a Worship Leader for of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Int. – with presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr.

She is a teacher… Although young in age, she has knowledge and wisdom well beyond her years. She has a deep revelation of Worship and she shares that revelation with worshippers around the world. As a Worship BRIDGE Tasha shares her God-given insight with worship leaders internationally, on how to effectively and consistently access God’s Presence.

Most of all, She is a Worshipper… The undying love, devotion, and passion Tasha has for God is undeniable. Tasha prays daily that God would “keep her humbled….”

In January 2014, Tasha’s interpretation of “Break Every Chain” earned her a Grammy Award, where she was awarded “Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance”. The Dove Awards also recognized her music with awards in three categories, “Gospel Performance and Contemporary Gospel/Urban song Break Every Chain” and  “Contemporary Gospel/Urban album “Grace”.  In October 2013, she copped Stellar Awards in three categories “UNCF New Artiste Of The Year, Contemporary Female of The Year plus Contemporary CD Of The Year.  On March 1, Cayman will welcome the ministry of Pastor Tasha Cobbs at the “Break Every Chain” Concert, 7pm, at the Lions Centre; a worship experience awaits you.
