Game of Thrones returns July 16, exclusively on HBO

HBO has confirmed the summer debut date for the highly anticipated new season of Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning original series Game of Thrones. The penultimate seventh season of the worldwide phenomenon will premiere on Sunday, July 16th, exclusively on HBO.

Game of Thrones stars Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Aidan Gillen as Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish, Diana Rigg as Lady Olenna Tyrell, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark and Maisie Williams as Arya Stark, among others.

Based on the bestselling book series by George R.R. Martin, the hit fantasy series chronicles an epic struggle for power in the vast and violent kingdom of Westeros. Game of Thrones is executive produced by David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield.

All past seasons of Game of Thrones are available exclusively for subscribers on HBO GO.
