FOOTBALL: Young Reggae Girls getting ready for CONCACAF U-20 finals

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Jamaica’s young Reggae Girls will today continue their preparations for the CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship with two training sessions.

The training session will take place at the Jamaica Football Federation Football Centre at the UWI.

There will be a morning session from 7:30 to 9:30, followed by an afternoon session, which begins at 4 o’clock.

Another training session is scheduled for tomorrow and then the team departs on Wednesday for Miami, USA for a training camp ahead of the CONCACAF Championship in the Cayman Islands from January 9-19.

For the CONCACAF Championship Jamaica will play out of Group ‘A’ alongside Costa Rica, Guatemala and the USA.

Group ‘B’ comprises host nation Cayman Islands, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago and Honduras.

Jamaica will play on Day One, January 9 against Guatemala.

The CONCACAF Championship qualifies three teams to the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada from August 5-24.
