Federal agents thwarted a plot to bomb the Dolphin Mall following an undercover operation, arresting Vicente Solano of Miami, CBS Miami reported Sunday.

Authorities said Solano, who has made pro-Islamic State videos, planned to carry out a weapons of mass destruction attack at the mall located in Doral. Agents were tipped off by a confidential informant who had been in contact with Solano about the plot.

Undercover FBI agents supplied Solano with a hoax bomb, a strategy used in previous counter-terrorism investigations. Authorities said there was no evidence Solano had any connections to ISIS. He will appear in a Miami federal court on Monday.
