Fathers and daughters enjoy a fun-filled evening

Child Month activities bring families closer.

Child Month celebrations continued with Father-Daughter Evening last Wednesday (16 May).

In each district, the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) organized dinner and games for families to enjoy.

Guest speaker and Minister of Community Affairs, Gender and Housing the Hon. Mike Adam, MBE, JP emphasized the importance of a healthy father/daughter relationship.

As he shared a few of his own parenting tips, Minister Adam encouraged fathers to secure a loving relationship with their daughters by spending quality time and expressing ever-lasting love. He also reminded families to cherish their relationships as is it is one of the foundations to a happy home as well as a strong community.
