The 2017 eXtra Cayman Arts Festival (CAF) events will take place from February 9th to February 11th, 2017, showcasing world-class performers including Dama Trio from Italy and the Juilliard Jazz Ensemble performing with Helen Sung.

CAF has traditionally supported various art forms in addition to music. This year, its ‘fringe’ events will feature the Cayman Youth Choir, as well as two young musicians – David Brown and Isabella Rooney, and also students from CAF’s afterschool programme. The audience will be able to view a range of locally made products by the artists of the Visual Arts Society (Camana Bay event), or the National Gallery’s latest exhibition Upon the Seas whilst being entertained by our talented local musicians.

Over the years during the days of the festival, CAF has encouraged all performers to hold educational and cultural workshops for students of the Cayman Islands. For the 2017 festival, the main performers will present free educational concerts for students from both public and private schools.
