About 3:30 pm Monday 17 March 2014 the RCIPS received a reports that twenty five (25) Cubans escaped from the Fairbanks Detention Center. Officers dispatched to the location and twenty four (24) of the Cubans were recaptured in different areas with the assistance of Immigration Officers.

One of the male Cuban Migrants is still at large.
