Documentary: Secrets of the Fortresses of the Caribbean Part 2

Caribbean Tourism Organization, Lifetime Achievement Award-winning film producer Patrick Baucelin from Martinique will be showcasing for the first time in Antigua, the documentary “Secrets of the Fortresses of the Caribbean Part 2, which features Fort Barrington and Shirley Heights on Thursday, January 11th, in the Upstairs Gallery of The Museum of Antigua and Barbuda at 10:00 am.

The Museum has always featured his documentaries, the last being Sugar Mills and Islands, Fortresses of the Caribbean Part 1.

Over the years, Martinique-born Baucelin distinguished himself as an author, producer and director. Both ‘ Fort-de-France, its monuments’ and ‘ Martinique’ witness Baucelin’s deep commitment to his native island as he shares his personal and authentic perspective, earning several awards in U.S., including a Crystal Award of Excellence for broadcasting communication in category of travel. Caribbean Islands’ Cities brought awareness about each of the island capitals in the Caribbean, raising awareness about the region and its neighbors.

The goal of this presentation was to inspire the various islands to discover, create cultural exchanges, and expand the geographic knowledge of the islands.
