Doc claims smoking during pregnancy turns children GAY

A UNIVERSITY professor has astonishingly claimed that a woman smoking while she is pregnant can turn the baby gay.
Dr Dick Swaab, a professor of neurobiology at Amsterdam University, claims that a woman’s lifestyle while she is pregnant can affect both the IQ and sexuality of her unborn child.
He said that the development of the child can be affected by smoking, drinking, taking drugs or living in an area with high pollution levels.
Smoking would mean a higher chance of a daughter becoming a lesbian in later life, according to the doctor.
He told The Sunday Times: “Pre-birth exposure to both nicotine and amphetamines increases the chance of lesbian daughters.”
Dr Swaab also claimed that the more brothers a boy has, the more likely he is to become gay.

He added: “Pregnant women suffering from stress are also more likely to have homosexual children of both genders because their raised level of the stress hormone cortisol affects the production of foetal sex hormones.”
The doctor also claimed that annoying behaviour in teens is natures way of preventing incest.
Ben Summerskill, chief executive of gay rights organisation Stonewall, said that “sexuality is probably is caused by genetic inclination”, adding that more evidence is needed before stating either way.
Despite his controversial claims, the doctor said genetics do play a much larger role in child development than lifestyle choices.
