Digicel brings cutting-edge to the Countryside

The Countryside Shopping Village store boasts the best in new technologies making it more interactive and user friendly for customers, as well as showcasing the benefits of Digicel’s range of products and services.

This new experience store allows customers to not only interact with the latest mobile technology but to use cutting edge data applications to help with choosing the product and plan that best suit their individual needs. With this new fully interactive information hub and all live devices, Digicel now boasts a state of the art retail experience. The opening of the Countryside store marks the beginning of Digicel’s store upgrade plan in the Cayman Islands, which is expected to be completed by early next year.

Digicel’s Commercial Director, Brian Hurley, said; “Expanding our retail footprint is key to our business due to the significant growth of our customer base. We have listened to our customers and want to ensure that we deliver on our services commitments. The rationale for choosing the Countryside location in Savannah was simple. It is a fantastic Shopping complex and allows us to bring a Digicel closer to our valued customers on that side of the island. ”

The opening of this store in the district of Bodden Town highlights the increasing number of Businesses that are choosing to expand their operations to support the increase in population growth in the Eastern District as well to support the large-scale projects that are anticipated in this area of Grand Cayman.

Property Manager, Jason Alberga of Heritage Holdings also expressed his happiness at having Digicel at the Countryside Shopping Village. “Countryside Shopping Village welcomes the addition of the new cutting edge Digicel retail store. We feel that it will greatly benefit the local residents and adds to the overall appeal of Countryside being a one stop shopping destination,” said Mr. Alberga.

Opening and closing hours for the Digicel Countryside Store is11am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm on Saturday.
