Different American sports to watch

Today, with the availability of online streaming, people around the globe can follow sports outside of their country with incredible ease. In this text we’re going to show you three examples of fun American sports to watch and tune into.

Even though the eyes of the world are on Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the time of writing this article, all three of these sports can be wonderful substitutes after the tournament. If you’re currently living in the Cayman Islands, the time zones are an added bonus for watching American sports. Betting on American sports is also simple from the Caymans, regardless of whether you want to bet on March Madness picks or you prefer something else.

The NFL

American football is something that has been popular stateside since the game was invented, but it has struggled to pick up steam internationally. With the advent of internet streaming and the possibility to bet on games and consume media around the league, this is slowly starting to change. For those living in the Caymans, the games are broadcasted during a perfect time of the day when it’s easy to tune in. The season runs until February, and if you’re yet to catch any games, now can be a perfect opportunity to do so.

Basketball

Basketball is one of the biggest sports in the USA and the entertainment value is through the roof. Unlike American football which requires some degree of knowledge to enjoy, anyone can tune in to a game of college or NBA basketball and have a good viewing experience. Unlike the NFL, there are games on, during the majority of the days in the week and just like the previous example, the time zones means that residents of the Caymans can tune in to watch during comfortable hours.

Hockey

People in the USA and Canada have a keen interest in hockey, particularly ice hockey. Ice Hockey is unlike any other sport there is, and the sheer speed and ferocity of the players is truly a sight to behold. The fact that there are no ice rinks in the tropics on which to play this sport makes people in these regions eager to watch ice hockey. Sometimes the time zones don’t work out quite well, but you should still be able to find plenty of games to tune into.
