New U.K. policy will put trafficking survivors at increased risk of suicide
A new report published by the Royal College of Psychiatrists criticizes the U.K. interior ministry for detaining people, including trafficking survivors, in “perilous” conditions that worsen individuals’ mental health and increases their risk of suicide. Freedom United is urgently calling on governments to stop detaining trafficking survivors for breaching immigration rules and release all survivors from detention. Read more…
