The #caribbean is a popular vacation destination due to its many small islands, warm year-round climate, incredible vacation resorts, and stunning beaches. The Caribbean creates a perfect environment that is perfect for newlyweds, a romantic getaway or for anyone seeking to get married. Although the Caribbean might be a destination for those searching for romance, it also happens to be a great place for families to vacation at.

Much like other locations around the world, choosing the ideal Caribbean vacation destination can certainly be a big challenge. The Caribbean offers a great number of vacation #destinations to choose from that makes it very difficult to pick the one that is right for you. If you are planning on visiting the Caribbean, do some research first on the locations you are interested in visiting to make it easier on your decision. The following is a brief summary of five popular Caribbean destinations that draw tourists from all over the world.

The Turks and Caicos
Situated not far from the Bahamas, these two Caribbean islands are recognized for their stunning beaches as well as scuba diving. The Turks and Caicos Islands are home to large coral reefs, attracting tourists from all over the world. In addition to, a number of outdoor activities can be enjoyed such as hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, kayaking, sailing, fishing, diving, and snorkeling.

St. John
Although the island of St. John is the tiniest of the three U.S. Virgin Islands, many tourists consider St. John’s beaches as the absolute best in the Caribbean. One popular spot on the island is Trunk Bay which is protected by the United States National Park Service. In addition to beach activities, Trunk Bay is renowned for its snorkeling. Skilled, underwater guides guarantee the Trunk Bay snorkeling experience to be a memorable one.

Canouan Island
Situated in the Grenadines, the island provides some of the most pristine beaches in the Caribbean. The island is made up of an eco-friendly landscape and is home to one of the world’s largest living coral reefs. The waters are populated with a variety of marine life, providing a fun experience for divers and snorkelers. Other outdoor activities include hiking, bicycling, fishing, windsurfing, and sailing. Canouan Island is widely recognized for its exclusive and romantic surroundings. Although a large number of beaches in the Caribbean are inundated with tourists each year, Canouan Island remains somewhat unknown.

Jamaica
Jamaica is home to many beautiful beaches set among mountain vistas and rolling landscapes with flowing rivers and magnificent waterfalls. Visitors are only minutes away from some of the most beautiful scenery. Jamaica features a number of beautiful beach resorts primarily known for their fun activities. Popular tourist attractions include the Dunn’s River Falls in St. Ann, the YS Falls in St. Elizabeth, and the Blue Lagoon in Portland, considered as the crater linked with an extinct volcano. The island offers a number of excellent outdoor activities such as scuba diving, fishing, boating, kayaking, tubing, and zip-lining. Vacationers visiting Jamaica will not be disappointed.

The Cayman Islands
Another popular summer vacation destination are the Cayman Islands situated in the western Caribbean Sea. Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac make up the Cayman Islands and feature a number of popular beaches. Among the most popular attractions is Seven Mile Beach situated on Grand Cayman Island and featuring a number of upscale hotels and resorts. Tourists seeking a more intimate setting with fewer crowds normally vacation at one of the two smaller islands. Two of the major historical sites most often visited in Grand Cayman is the Pedro St James Castle in Savannah, and the Observation Tower, situated in Camana Bay. #Travel
