DART supports Cayman Islands YMCA as leading corporate founder

The YMCA of the Cayman Islands is excited to announce DART has joined key organisations and leaders in the community in supporting the Y at the highest level.
The YMCA launched their Corporate Founders campaign in 2016 to firmly root the Y in the community and establish a solid foundation for future success. Funds raised help increase community awareness about the Y’s mission, goals and impact; further develop and expand programmes; and provide the necessary resources to build greater organisational capacity and stability.
Chris Duggan, Vice President of Community Development at Dart commented, “We are delighted to come on board as a Platinum Founder of the YMCA of the Cayman Islands. Their commitment to positively impacting the lives of young people in Cayman is commendable, and the support they have received from the community since their recent launch is a testament to the valuable work that the organisation has carried out over the years.” Mr. Duggan went on to say, “We look forward to working with the Y to continue making a significant, positive impact on the lives of many youth and families throughout the Cayman Islands.” Chairman of the Y, Andrew Johnson expressed the board’s appreciation saying, “We are incredibly grateful for Dart’s investment in strengthening our community. Currently, the YMCA of the Cayman Islands reaches 30% of our school-aged youth, focusing on instilling core values and building character. Dart’s generous support will go a long way to increasing our impact and reach in the Cayman Islands.”
On the horizon for the Y is establishing its own facility, expanding health and wellness programmes, activities for active older adults, and family programmes. To learn more visit www.ymcacayman.ky.
