Princess Cruises Raising $1 Million for AHA on 5 Night Caribbean Cruise

Princess Cruises is raising $1 million for the American Heart Association on a 5 night Western Caribbean Cruise on February 10-15, 2014.  The cruise departs from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on the Ruby Princess with stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico.

Princess will not only donate a portion of each cruise fare ($100-300) to the AHA, but the cruise line will also make a penny for penny matching contribution up to $500,000.  Fares for this cruise are as low as $299* a person for an inside cabin.

The portion of each cruise fare that is donated will be tax-deductible and Princess will provide each passenger with a written acknowledgement of their charitable contribution.  Inside cabins will receive $100 per passenger, oceanview $150, balcony $200, mini-suites $250, and suite guests $300.  Third and fourth passengers in each cabin will receive $50 each.

This special “Cruising for a Cause” sailing will have entertainment that will be unique to this cruise.  There will be a wide range of activities with special guests and speakers. On the final night of the cruise (Valentines Day), the Ruby Red Gala party will take place.
